Christchurch

Today, we took a tour of Christchurch. We took a punting boat (like the gondolas in Venice, Italy) down the Avon river, we went to visit a little suburb called Sumner, and we walked around the Christchurch botanical gardens. The roses were beautiful and the tour was fabulous! In the afternoon, we went to see the destroyed Catholic and Anglican cathedrals which were a sad sight to see. The earthquakes destroyed them.
