San Pedro de Atacama

Day 1

sunny 72 °F

Today we took a sand dune hike in the morning. We hiked up to a flat rocky piece of land to see an old fort. Then we hiked down a big sand dune all the way to the bottom of the cliff! It was very fun. In the evening, Jolie and Carol took a tour to one of the suburbs to see a church made out of cactus wood. It was cool! Then we went to the old bell tower, and then out to the salt flats to see the flamingos and watch the sunset.
