In the morning, we walked around the national park. In the afternoon we went to a Tasmanian devil conservatory called Devils@Cradle. They taught us all about the disease that is killing the devils. The disease is a rare type of cancer that grows on the face and only animals are susceptible to it. They don't know who the first devil was that got it, but they do know that is spreads VERY quickly. It spreads by mouth, and when playing, devils bite each other. That is how the cancer spreads. We got to pet a devil, and watch them play. We also got to feed them. It was cool to watch them try to find the hidden food. It was like they were in the wild, hunting.
