Darwin

Days 1/2/3

semi-overcast 75 °F

These three days we spent enjoying ourselves. But, one day we did go to a crocodile park called Crocosaurus Cove. We saw turtles and snakes and all sorts of different reptiles. And of course, like the name says, we saw crocodiles! We got to feed them and we even got to hold a baby croc!

Ayers Rock

Day 2

sunny 98 °F

Today, we spent all day at the pool again. In the late afternoon, we rode camels to our outdoor dinner next to Ayers Rock, called the Sounds of Silence dinner. It was an outdoor buffet dinner, with a starguide to teach us about the stars afterward.

Ayers Rock

Day 1

sunny 100 °F

Today we spent time at the pool. It was SO hot, there was not much else we could do. At sunset, we took a motorcycle ride on Harley's out to the other famous rock formation, The Olgas, or as the locals call it, Kata Tjuta. We took a walk around Kata Tjuta and rode the Harley's back to the hotel. We then took a bus to another lodge called the Outback Pioneer Lodge, and had dinner at the Outback Pioneer barbecue. We cooked our own meat and vegetables on grills outside. It was cool!
